La Fruitière

A short walk from Manneken Pis, is La Fruitière. A delightful fusion of cheese shop, aging cellar, and intimate tasting bar. This charming establishment offers a unique experience for cheese enthusiasts, allowing patrons to savor a curated selection of cheeses on-site.

The cozy space accommodates around 20 guests, featuring a large communal table that fosters a convivial atmosphere. Here, you can indulge in cheese and charcuterie platters, truffle croque-monsieur, or a comforting fondue, all expertly paired with natural wines and craft beers.

What sets La Fruitière apart is its commitment to quality and tradition. The mother-son duo behind this venture, Véronique and Léo, bring their expertise from the Jura mountains, ensuring that each cheese is aged to perfection in their on-site cellar. Their dedication has earned them accolades, including recognition as Belgium’s Best Female Cheesemaker. Her son, Léo, has just won Best Cheesemaker prize in 2023.

Whether you're a local or a visitor, La Fruitière offers an authentic taste of Belgian and French cheeses in a warm and inviting setting. It's the perfect spot to unwind, enjoy a cheese board, and immerse yourself in the rich flavors of the region.
